Today, we celebrate the achievements, resilience and contributions of women everywhere—and what better way to do so than by reflecting on the incredible moments from our recent event - SpeakEasy with WiRE: Small Talks, Big Thoughts?
A Stage for Impactful Conversations
On the afternoon of 6th March, we had the privilege of hearing from an incredible lineup of women speakers from our SpeakEasy database, who shared deeply personal stories of leadership, resilience, lessons from their career that they shared with the audience to reflect on and spark ideas of how they can navigate their own careers.

Each speaker took the stage for a 15-minute session, which included a short talk followed by a QnA. Their heartfelt narratives focused on overcoming challenges, seizing opportunities, and building resilience, all echoing the call to 2025 IWD's theme: Accelerate Action, toward greater empowerment, equity and progress. Their sharing also reminded us that when women support and uplift one another, real progress happens.
Fun and Engagement: IWD & SpeakEasy Trivia
To add a playful twist to the event, we hosted an interactive trivia session featuring fun facts about International Women's Day and the SpeakEasy initiative eliciting both laughter and appreciation for the journey towards gender equity, whilst maintaining a competitive air as the audience attempted to top the leaderboard.
Beyond the Talks: Building Community
The energy didn’t stop at the speaker and trivia sessions as we headed towards WiRE's signature networking session. It was filled with dynamic conversations and new connections. The conversations flowed as freely as the refreshments, and seeing attendees engage with speakers, exchange insights, and uplift one another was a testament to the power of community.

SpeakEasy with WiRE: A Platform for Change and Progress
This event is part of our mission to increase the representation of women as speakers at industry conferences and events. Too often, women’s voices are underrepresented in key discussions.
