In the first of this tech series, we invite Dr Ladina Caviezel, a data science manager at Swiss Re, who will lift the veil on how advanced data techniques and artificial intelligence are applied to insurance to drive innovation or unlock efficiencies. She will also share her personal career journey having made the switch from the medical industry to financial services, to shed light on how one can pivot their career towards technology and the skills that will be increasingly relevant for the future.

Launched in 2016, Women in Reinsurance is a non-profit, volunteer-run association consisting of
Committee Members working across the reinsurance industry. With over 600 network members, WiRE hosts events to inspire and motivate young talents to pursue their ambition and achieve their full career potential as future leaders.  Our events include mentoring, personal development workshops and networking events.
